Get up and move every 30 minutes
In October 2016, the American Diabetes Association issued new recommendations about physical activity and exercise for people with diabetes. The update suggests short 3 minute periods of movement every 30 minutes instead of every 90 minutes, especially if you are sitting for long periods of time to improve blood sugar management.
