Behind Closed Doors /

Joan Lunden witnesses the implosion one of Las Vegas' most famous and revered hotels, the Aladdin. Lunden gains unprecedented access to the inner workings of an implosion and is given the honor of pushing the button to trigger the fall of the 20-story building. Lunden spends several days with the team hired to implode the Aladdin, following every aspect of the process from laying the dynamite to weakening the building structure. Behind Closed Doors is there for a never before seen walk-through of the hotel to check the explosives and wires during the final safety check, just one hour before implosion. Also, Behind Closed Doors strategically places six high-tech television cameras inside the hotel for never before seen video of what a building implosion looks like from the inside out.
