To research the experience of drug and alcohol recovery at the Ford Clinic, Lunden becomes the only TV reporter to spend two days and nights inside the Clinic as part of the Professional in Residence Program, where she shares living quarters with the recovering addicts. In addition to talking with patients and therapists on camera, she interviews former First Lady Betty Ford, former President Gerald Ford, and Clinic alumnus Gregory Harrison.
