What is All This Talk About The "Mammogram Scam?"

Today I read yet another article on the controversy surrounding mammograms. It seems as though this discussion stems, yet again, from the initiatives of the US Preventative Task Force, which are geared towards shifting the baseline age for mammograms from 40 to 50. I know I hear from so many women in their 40s who wouldn't be alive today if they hadn't had their mammogram. For me, I would take a false positive any day of the week over not knowing that I had invasive breast cancer growing in my chest. What are your thoughts on this issue?
