Let's Come ALIVE Together
One year ago this week, I heard those unforgettable words "You have breast cancer" and my entire life changed forever. This past year has been a challenge, with months of treatment, loosing my hair, re-evaluating my life and my career, and ultimately developing a new mission in life – to help others facing cancer. I met so many amazing people along the way and being accepted into this powerful community helped me get through with a positive attitude. I often say it’s like a sorority you don’t necessarily want to join, the initiation process stinks, but once you’re a part of it, you are truly surrounded by love, strength, and support. Having others to look up to who have already travelled the path gives you hope and insight that is invaluable. From other survivors, to patients sitting next to me at chemo, to the wonderful nurses and even the researchers who I have been fortunate enough to meet…the list goes on.
I have always focused my career on health & wellness, but now my passion has become my mission and I needed to put the pedal to the metal. So today we announce ALIVE, a streaming video on demand television channel devoted to the vast world of breast cancer. My hope is to create a community for the newly diagnosed, those of us surviving, and for our circles of support. On ALIVE, you will find new content every day consisting of:

- Educational videos for the newly diagnosed

This project really does make me feel ALIVE, and along with all of you, my plan is to live and thrive for many years to come. I hope you’ll check it out so we can all come ALIVE together!
