After going through chemo and radiation treatment over this past year, I can (loudly!) speak to the important role that nurses play in the medical profession. Nurses are literally on the front line of our care; they are the ones to administer much of the treatment you receive, they are the primary touchpoint to the patient, and they often have more interaction with the patient and the family than the busy doctors do. In this new documentary I narrated for the Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing’s Future titled, "Nurses: Their Vital Role in Transforming Healthcare", we explore the impact nurses have on our country's healthcare system, our communities and families.
