Joan Rivers on Good Morning America in 1985

Even with her sharp-toothed comedy, Joan Rivers was a warmhearted, caring person who always brought her innate kindness to our interviews.

Here is Joan talking about being grateful for her career, the "bumps" in life and the love that she has for her daughter, Melissa, in an interview I did with her on Good Morning America in 1985.

My thoughts are with Melissa and her family.

She will be greatly missed.
