NYCfitfam's Egg White Delight
Looking for a quick, protein packed, low carb breakfast delight? Try this easy egg white dish for breakfast! You can even chop and mix ingredients the night before to make your morning a whiz!
Egg whites are a convenient and low-calorie way to add egg protein to your diet, without overloading your calorie and fat consumption or elevating your cholesterol level.
Ingredients (makes 1 personal serving)
- Three (3) ¼ inch strips Pepper (pick your favorite colors!)
- One (1) ¼ inch slice Onion
- Two (2) slices no-sodium Turkey
- ¼ Avocado
- Six (6) Tablespoon Egg Whites
- Black pepper
- Optional: Hot Sauce
Directions
Place egg whites in a microwave safe bowl with lid. Chop up onions, peppers, and turkey. Add to bowl and sprinkle with pepper. Cover and place in the fridge for the morning!
In the morning, just pop the container in the microwave for approx. 2 minutes at 50% power. Once cooked, add avocado and hot sauce to taste and head out to conquer your day! Enjoy!
