In this episode, I share my personal story about the devastating impact of type 2 diabetes on my brother. I remember all too well when my brother was just in his late 20s, overweight, a casual drinker, heavy smoker, and rarely exercised. His lifestyle choices made for a deadly combination and my brother ultimately passed away in his 50s from complications of type two diabetes. But there are resources like the CDC's Prediabetes, Diabetes, and Your Health page and their National Diabetes Prevention Program to help you lower your risk.
