Cindy Dupass
I was diagnosed in May 2006, just shy of my 50 th birthday, was devastating news, but with the love and help of my children , family and friends I made it through surgery chemo, and radiation, I also shaved my head. I have 3 sons and they all had the same barber, so I decided to go there, it's very scary knowing in a moment you were going to be bald, I actually didn't look bad bald ! I couldn't wear the wig, just wasn't me ! So I wore scarves, except around family an friends, I would just be bald, it's been eight years cancer free ! So for Joan, Robin, Hoda, and my sister in law , my Mom and every woman out there who is dealing with or has had breast cancer it's a struggle, but with all the love and support from family and friends we get thru!! So thanks to everyone who was there for me during my dark days of breast cancer!! Thank You immensely!! I love you all!
