Kathi Rogers

Around 1997, I found out I had melanoma on my right forearm. I had it removed and had no further treatment. In 2010, the melanoma came back in my right arm pit. I went through 4 weeks, five days a week, of Interferon and after that I gave myself shots in the stomach for 6months. In 2013, I found out I had breast cancer. I had 6 Chemo treatments and 37 radiation treatments. Through each of these cancers, I stayed very positive. Some people asked me how I could be so positive. I told them staying positive help me through this along with lots of prayers. If you sit down and gave up, it will taken over your life. I finished my last treatment on September 16th. I wish I could l tell all people with any kind of cancer to STAY POSITIVE.
