Very happy to share my story, since I am the typical women who refused to get mammograms. My first was when I was 30 and had my 3rd baby. Because a lump was found I had to have surgery to remove a fibroadenoma. Then 10 years later had to have 7 cysts aspirated from both breasts. It was only due to the urging of my Gynolocologist that I followed up with a Breast Surgeon in June 2014 since my January mammo was clear. Unfortunately I am now battling stage 2 IDC, HER 2 Positive. Please keep your voice as people will listen!!
